The Association works in
partnership and collaboration with a wide variety
of agencies, professional and family organizations,
and universities. Examples
of agencies include the U.S. Department of
Education and the Maternal and Child Health Branch
of the Department of Health and Human Services.
Organizations include the Federation for Children
with Special Needs, Zero to Three, and the National
Association for Directors of Special Education.
This collaboration focuses on different areas such
as, policy development, training and technical
assistance. University partnerships include the
University of Connecticut, the University of North
Carolina, and include research into best practices
for early intervention services.
